We launched the La Luna dinner with the idea of hosting events that not only provide the opportunities for Avondale’s friends to get to know our magnificent collection of extraordinary wines, but also for them to understand why they are wines approved by Mother Nature.

The first event held in September, featured guest chef Olivier Jaeggi-Wright who offers Avondale wines on the wine list of his acclaimed Terra Mare restaurant in Paarl. I’m sure his familiarity with our wines made the difference to Olivier coming up with a truly virtuoso menu for the first La Luna dinner. The food, the wines, the pairings were outstanding, beyond our high expectations.
